Hello and Welcome!
Hi my name is Kelly and I`m an online language coach, fellow language learner, and as I said before myself at all times!
My love for teaching first started in 2001 when I started training as a dance teacher, in 2011 I started running and teaching at my own dance school business but, languages and travel have always been my real love. I have taught people from age 18 months old up to adults in their sixties in dance, and from 7 years to adults in languages. I really love working with teenagers and adults at this point in my life.
I am now bringing my 17 years worth of teaching experience from dance and performing arts into languages. I coach ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language) online, along with coaching learners of many different languages on how to actually learn a language!

More about me
I studied French and German at school. In 2005 I went to work at Disneyland Paris. Living and working in a foreign country, and with people from all over Europe, got me even more excited about languages. My room mate was Polish and we spent our first evening trying to talk to each other using a Polish/English dictionary. It was great fun and when I left she could speak amazing English. Sadly I did not learn Polish, something I now regret.
This made me determined to be able to speak another language well. Life got in the way and I never seemed to have the time until I met my husband. He is from South Africa, and so I was introduced to Afrikaans. I loved it straight away because it reminded me of German, and I found I was picking up the language quite quickly on our trips there. I thought finally I have a real chance and a good reason to learn a language that I can use.
I have been learning Afrikaans or almost three years now, and have made learning it part of my everyday life so that I am not studying, it’s just what I do. This is what I am most excited to show you how to do.
I then decided after years of hip and knee problems to change from teaching dance to coaching ESL/EFL which is something I have always been excited about. I am still new to coaching languages but I feel I still have a lot to offer. I approachable, kind and understanding. I feel you could also get a lot of value from me sharing my own language learning experiences with you. I have always been interested in the different ways that people learn and so that is something I would like to show you. I can work both with people who want to learn English and also learners of any language who want to learn a more fun and fruitful way to work towards fluency.
Thanks for reading!
